Band
The Drum Section
The drummers are busy all year round as we always have something to practice. We mainly work on drum solos and marching in step. When the band has no band events coming up we are all still working hard to keep the drummers up to scratch from stick work to learning a new tune.
This section as a whole work as a team to make the band look good as they lead from the front, in many cases we 'show off' during static displays and band competitions. All the drummers are good and are capable of coming up with parts of a drum routine while helping each other and motivating themselves to allow them to preform to the highest standard.
The drum section as a whole work brilliantly as a team and are always up for a challenge and will not think twice about stepping up to accomplish that challenge. I have never been disappointed with the drum section and am proud to have them as part of my section.

The Glockenspiel Section
The glock section has the responsibility of putting a tune to the beat. We are busy all year round as we are constantly practising tunes and learning new tunes.
As a section we are capable of playing simple tunes like ‘Sound Off and Saints’ to more challenging tunes ‘Life on the Ocean Wave and Royal Air Force March Past’.
As a section we work well as a team and are always there to help each other with learning new tunes. As lead glock I have never had a problem with cadets turning up to band events, as they are always prepared and ready to perform.
